NEUTICLES are fully autoclavable and is the recommended sterilization technique. However, all forms of sterilization have been successfully employed.It is recommended that a drop of penicillin be placed on each NEUTICLE prior to implantation.This step adds a secondary sterilization measure and serves as a lubricant in the event of limited implant placement area.

Pre-examination is required to assure correct implant sizing. The placement of larger than natural testicle will either not fit (or in scrotal applications) may lead to potential complications and animal discomfort. It is recommended to implant a smaller than natural Neuticles in cases where exact sizing is not possible.Although NEUTICLES have routinely been implanted in canines up to five years following the traditional neutering procedure, it is recommended that implantation occur at the time of neutering.

NEUTICLES have also been implanted in felines, horses and bulls with no reported complications.
